Can ETV journalists be idiotic?

The unending, furious, maddening race debate was once again the topic of 3rd Degree on ETV last night, leading the too-blonde-for-her-tan Deborah Patta to asked, "Can black people be racist?" just before the programme cut to an advert break.

Sigh.

Political commentator, Eusebius McKaiser, managed to contain himself from spitting, "Of course they can, you bloody moron. If you are a human being, you can be racist."

What the hell is this rubbish about one or other race group being incapable of expressing hatred? Why do have to keep on having inane ‘investigative journalists’ ask us these questions?

It is plain insulting to have this rubbish spewed from our TVs dressed up as social commentary.

JaNee, the physical effect of witnessing Ms Patta at work is that of nails scraping down a blackboard.
    Eeeek!

I found the subject matter more eye-gougingly irritating than Ms Patta on Tuesday eve, I must say Eileen.

  3. Eileen says:

Indeed. But one must say, it’s all in the delivery.

  4. BLUE says:

SHE IS HIDEOUS… what they need to do is make a “RACE card” that way she can just hand it out during interviews and people can hand it back to her… WAIT… maybe she needs a stupid card… or an interrupting card… she always interrupts people…yes i would give her an interrupting card…

My friend and i made a “RACE” card… i am not going to lie… it has been a LOT of fun to hand it out! We have been handing it out in the office! Try it…

  5. Don't Believe a Word I Write says:

Ha, yes. She does have a rather special way of berating the viewer, eh Eileen?

Blue, hahahah, your outrage is hilarious. I totally love the idea of the race card and I think I might just try that in my last few weeks at this workplace. Then again, I’d have to have so many cards… just as well I’m leaving.

I’d give them a “you’re a bunch of arseholes” card. Thanks for the suggestions.
